Your business is important to us, and we aim to meet guest needs and requirements, without being intrusive. We offer value, combined with friendly service. We are small enough to be personal, with only 9 units. They are all clean and comfortable. Our units are spacious, 1 & 2 bedroom units with separate lounges, as well as 3 studios. All our rooms have a wide range of facilities and special touches to make your stay more enjoyable.

We are environmentally friendly with recycling, water conservation, composting and energy efficient lighting throughout the motel. We have an Enviro Bronze Qualmark award. We also joined the White Roof project when we put a new environmentally friendly white roof on the motel. (November 2012)

Pearl of the Bay is located on the edge of Paihia, with views overlooking the Bay of Islands towards Opua Harbour. From the motel take a short stroll down to Te Haumi beach and explore the coastal walkways.

Walk over the hill or around the coast to Paihia township where there are cafes, shops and the wharf. Tours to Cape Reinga and cruises around the beautiful Bay of Islands pick you up from the motel.
