We offer fully self-contained, well-equipped studio and one bedroom units, opening onto landscaped gardens with a superb swimming pool. Four studio units are furnished with a queen-size bed; one cottage studio has a king sized bed which can be divided into 2 separate single beds. The other cottage studio has a king size bed and located away from the pool area for those people wanting a little peace and privacy. One bedroom units have a separate double bedroom with queen-size bed. The lounge area has a two single beds, one of which is a trundler. As the Ash Grove is a small motel, we are able to offer the personal service of a B & B, with the independence of self-catering. We are happy to help in any way we can to make your holiday in the beautiful Bay of Islands as enjoyable as possible. The units were clean, the bed was comfortable and the fan was great for the afternoons. The swimming pool was good too. Location is great if you want to be away from the noise of central pahia. It is located next to the main road but quiet at night due to no traffic. Would recommend as a great base for a stay in the bay of islands. Thanks. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and recommended a wonderful seafood restaurant to us. Would stay again if the occasion arises.

Very pleasant accomodation,clean and tidy with friendly operators and a couple of very fine chocolate muffins on arrival.The weather wasnt to order but we made good use of the free wifi.Thanks would recommend.
