Our guests are accommodated in spacious African safari tents in the most beautiful setting on the banks of a crystal clear mountain stream. We provide self catering facilities, with a well equipped communal kitchen, barbeque and bonfire area. Activities include bush walks, trout fishing, tube rafting, mountain biking, adventure sports and a farm experience. We are located on the SH11, approximately 5 km north from Kawakawa and 20 km south from Paihia in the beautiful Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Sandra and Koos were lovely. Great to smell the campfire reminded me of South Africa. Only 15 minutes from Paihia and 30-40 minutes from Keri Keri. Took us 3 hours from Auckland. We camped but the Safari Tents looked great and quite luxurious. Plenty of hot water to shower under! Kids loved the Gosling's and a little tame bunny named "Haasie" - all in all a great experience! Very enjoyable. Nice and quite. Nice helpful owners with good kitchen facilities. |
